Miss Universe Ghana
Miss Universe Ghana or ''Beautiful of Ghanaian'' is a national pageant that sends representatives to the Miss Universe pageant. This pageant is unrelated to ''Miss Ghana'' pageant.
==History==
Ghana was participated at the Miss Universe since 1991. The candidate of Miss Ghana for Miss Universe in 1991, 1993, 1996 and 1998 selected from Miss Ghana winner.
In 1999, the new National Director, Ayite Okyne had awarded to held Miss Universe Ghana pageant. The first Miss Universe Ghana was Akuba Cudjoe who placed as the Top 10 Grand finalist of Miss Universe 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago together with Mpule Kwelagobe of Botswana who won the crown of the Miss Universe 1999.
In 2011 the Miss Universe Ghana, Erica Nego was competed at the Miss USA pageant in 2009 represented Minnesota. She is the first Ghanian-American who won the title of Miss Universe Ghana.
